  • headteachers
  • governing bodies
  • those with day-to-day responsibility for mental health issues in schools such as:
    • counsellors
    • clinical supervisors
    • managers of school counselling services

It will also be of interest to NHS providers and local authority commissioners of counselling and other forms of psychological support.

It applies to all primary and secondary schools.

It is about providing counselling as a psychological therapy to improve the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people.
